Joinery/Cabinet Making Apprentice

The Role
Capeview Building Products is looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our highly experienced team to work in our Wonthaggi facility.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:
- A keenness to work in the construction industry.
- Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.
- Be self-motivated to learn and develop.
- Good reading, writing and maths skills.
- Strong work ethic- being reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Apprentices will be trained in all aspects of kitchen and joinery production, with the opportunity to undertake ongoing training and development.

Wall Frame Fabricator

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an energetic person to join our experienced and motivated team of wall and truss Fabricators/Assemblers to work in our Factory located in Wonthaggi.
This role is a great introduction to the manufacturing and construction industry.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:
Essential:
- Strong work ethic- being reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Practical knowledge or experience in the building industry is essential
- Have a positive approach and work as an integral team member
- Excellent attention to detail and measure with accuracy
- Good communication skills are essential, as you will be working with a small team
- Physically fit and well-coordinated to carry out some manual handling
- Capable of using power tools and reading computer monitors
- Comply with workplace safety and the OH&S regulations
On-the-job guidance and training will be provided to the successful candidate.
