Capeview Building Products is South Gippsland’s leading manufacturer of cabinetry products supplying local builders and clients across Bass Coast, West and South Gippsland areas.
We are looking for a suitably qualified person to install cabinetry on a contractor basis.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:

- Have the ability to work independently
- Be able to read and understand plans
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy
- Be well organised with the ability to meet specified deadlines
Contractors must have their own reliable transport, tools, ABN and insurance.

The Role
Capeview Building Products is looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our highly experienced team to work in our Wonthaggi facility.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:

Apprentices will be trained in all aspects of kitchen production, with the opportunity to undertake ongoing training and development.

We are looking for an experienced and capable person to join our experienced welcoming team in our Wonthaggi facility. The Cabinetry/Joinery Estimator is responsible for providing accurate detailing and quoting of joinery products for our clients within agreed time frames.
The successful candidate will be able to read plans and interpret instructions to create accurate designs.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:

- Strong work ethic- being reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Build strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy
- Sound computer skills and experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite- including Outlook, Word, Excel and have an ability to learn in house computer programs
- Experience with CAD (cabmaster) or similar Computer Aided Design software
- Ability to interpret instructions and design requirements
- Good knowledge of residential kitchen and bathroom design and awareness of current trends
- Have good knowledge of industry products, materials and hardware
- Communicate effectively (in writing and verbally) with a wide range of stakeholders
- Be a team player, contributing to the team and also have the ability to work independently
- Be well organised with the ability to meet specified deadlines
On-site education and training will be provided to the successful applicant.
